Court magician, Mr. Weatherspoon, practices some dicey magic on King Boris of Borsovia.

The Unreliable Wand
Runtime: 15 minutes
16 mm colour film

Court Magician Mr. Weatherspoon finds that his second-hand wand is worn out. Unfortunately, ye olde wand revival procedure (which makes a worn out wand good for two more spells) makes the wand unreliable, which creates some worrying situations.
(Soundtrack also on 33 RPM 12-inch LP record, BBC REC 282)

Points of Interest: This episode is a remake of the earlier marionette episode, Wonky Wand. Compared to the original, both the dialogue and puppets have been simplified to suit a younger audience.
